Bootstrap Badges and Labels

Badges are used to display notifications, counts, or messages inside elements like buttons and list items.

Example:

<button class="btn btn-primary">
  Messages <span class="badge">5</span>
</button>

Output:

This will show a button with a number indicating unread messages.

Important Note: Badges in Bootstrap 3 are replaced with the .badge utility class in Bootstrap 4+.

Labels provide context to content, such as success, warning, or danger messages.

<span class="label label-success">Success</span>
<span class="label label-danger">Error</span>

Important Note: Labels were removed in Bootstrap 4; use badges instead.
