1. What is Cloud Computing?

2. What is Microsoft Azure?

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centers.

3. Explain the Importance of the role and how many types of roles are available in Windows Azure?

When working with the cloud platform, there are two Azure service roles on which an application can be installed: web roles or worker roles. A web role is a Microsoft server VM running Internet Information Services. A worker role is a Microsoft server VM not running IIS.

4. Why should you use Azure CDN?

Azure Content Delivery Network allowsto reduce load times, save bandwidth and speed responsiveness—whether you are developing or managing websites or mobile apps or encoding and distributing streaming media, gaming software, firmware updates or IoT endpoints.

7. Explain the crucial benefits of Traffic Manager

Traffic Manager provides two key benefits: Distribution of traffic according to one of several traffic-routing methods. Continuous monitoring of endpoint health and automatic failover when endpoints fail.

8. What are Break-fix issues in Microsoft Azure?

Technical problems in Azure are called break-fix issues. It is an industry term, which refers to work involved in supporting a technology when it fails in the normal course of its function, which requires intervention by a support organization to be restored to working order.

9. Explain Diagnostics in Windows Azure

Azure Diagnostics extension is an agent in Azure Monitor that collects monitoring data from the guest operating system of Azure compute resources including virtual machines. It is one of the agents available to collect monitoring data from the guest operating system of compute resources.

10. State the difference between repetitive and minimal monitoring.

Verbose monitoring collects metrics based on performance. It allows a close analysis of data fed during the process of application. On the other hand, minimal monitoring is a default configuration method. It makes the user of performance counters gathered from the operating system of the host.

11. 1What is the main difference between the repository and the powerhouse server?

Repository server controls the complete repository which includes tables, charts, and various procedures etc. Its main function is to assure the repository integrity and consistency. While a powerhouse server governs the implementation of various processes among the factors of server’s database repository.

12. Explain command task in Microsoft Azure

Add tasks to backlog items when to track the work required to implement them and to estimate the work assigned to individual team members and the team.

13. What are unconnected lookups?

In the unconnected lookup, the input is directly taken from the transformation that takes part in the flow of data. The connected data lookup is built as both a static and dynamic cache. This can be oriented via multiple ports that can give the output. It is defined by user defined entity.

Azure PowerShell is a set of cmdlets for managing Azure resources directly from the PowerShell command line. Azure PowerShell is designed to make it easy to learn and get started with, but provides powerful features for automation.

15. What is the use of the Migration Assistant tool in Azure Websites?

Azure Websites Migration Assistant for Windows is a tool that allows customers to move their existing sites hosted on IIS servers into the cloud on Azure App Service.

16. What is the use of Azure Active Directory?

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is Microsoft’s cloud-based identity and access management service, which helps employees to sign in and access resources in: External resources, such as Microsoft 365, the Azure portal, and thousands of other SaaS applications.

17. What is HDInsight in Microsoft Azure?

Azure HDInsight is a cloud distribution of Hadoop components. Azure HDInsight makes it easy, fast, and cost-effective to process massive amounts of data. You can use the most popular open-source frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, LLAP, Kafka, Storm, R, and more.

18. Explain role instance in Microsoft Azure

A role instance is a single deployment of your role to a dedicated virtual machine. All role instances are automatically put behind hardware load-balancers.
