1. What is cloud computing?
cloud computing is the delivery of computing services including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence over the Internet to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. It means storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of your computer's hard drive.
2. What is Azure Cloud Service?
Microsoft Azure is an example of a public cloud. With a public cloud, all hardware, software and other supporting infrastructure is owned and managed by the cloud provider. Access the services and manage the account using a web browser.
3. What are the different cloud deployment models?
There are four cloud deployment models: public, private, community, and hybrid. The three main cloud service models: Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Infrastructure as a Service.
4. What are the three principle segments of Windows Azure Platform?
Windows Azure has three principal segments: Compute, Storage, and Fabric. It gives a code that can be managed by the hosting environment. It gives the calculation benefit through parts.
5. What is Microsoft Azure and why is it used?

7. Which service in Azure is used to manage resources in Azure?
Azure Resource Manager is the deployment and management service for Azure. It provides a management layer that enables to create, update, and delete resources in the Azure account. To use management features, like access control, locks, and tags, to secure and organize the resources after deployment.

9. What is Windows Azure Portal?
The Azure portal is a web-based, unified console that provides an alternative to command-line tools. With the Azure portal, manage the Azure subscription using a graphical user interface. Build, manage, and monitor everything from simple web apps to complex cloud deployments.
10. What are virtual machine scale sets in Azure?
Microsoft Azure VM Scale Sets are groups of individual virtual machines (VMs) within the Microsoft Azure public cloud that information technology (IT) administrators can configure and manage as a single unit. Administrators can use Azure VM Scale Sets to deploy complete services, rather than duplicate the same VMs.
11. Do scale sets work with Azure availability sets?
Scale sets come with 5 fault domains and 5 update domains per placement group, which is the same thing as availability set and are automatically assigned as machines are scaled out. Change this default setting by contacting Azure support.
12. What is Federation in SQL Azure?
SQL Azure federation provides tools that allow developers to scale out in SQL Azure. Some of the benefits of a sharded database: Take advantage of greater resources within the cloud on demand. Allow customers to have their own database, to share databases or to access many databases.
13. What is Azure Service Fabric?
Azure Service Fabric is a distributed systems platform that makes it easy to package, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable micro services and containers. Create Service Fabric clusters anywhere, including Windows Server and Linux on premises and other public clouds, in addition to Azure.
14. What is the concept of the table in Windows Azure?
Azure Table storage stores large amounts of structured data. The service is a NoSQL datastore which accepts authenticated calls from inside and outside the Azure cloud. Azure tables are ideal for storing structured, non-relational data.
15. What is profiling in Azure?
Profiling is nothing but a process of measuring the performance analysis of an application. Once the profiling wizard is run, it establishes the performance session and collects the sampling data, then generates report files that can be opened and analyzed in Visual Studio.
16. What is meant by Microsoft Azure and Azure diagnostic?
Microsoft Azure Diagnostics (WAD) enables to collect diagnostic data from Cloud Services running in Microsoft Azure. Save diagnostic data that would be lost during a reimaging of the instance. Provide a central repository for diagnostics from multiple instances.
