1. What is cmdlet in Azure?

2. What is Windows Azure Scheduler?
Azure Scheduler is a cloud-based service that allows a user to schedule one time or ongoing system processes. Azure Scheduler performs scheduled system actions such as posting message into storage queue, executing jobs in the cloud on a customizable recurring schedule.
3. How can you create an HDInsight Cluster in Azure?
Select Analytics> Azure HDInsight to go to the Create HDInsight cluster page. From the drop-down list, select the Azure subscription that's used for the cluster. From the drop-down list, select your existing resource group, or select Create new. Enter a globally unique name.
4. What is Text Analytics API in Azure Machine?

7. Define Windows Azure AppFabric.
AppFabric is a set of hosted services and acts as middleware between Azure applications. AppFabric is "Windows Azure AppFabric provides a comprehensive cloud middleware platform for developing, deploying and managing applications on the Windows Azure Platform.
8. What is table storage in Windows Azure?
Azure Table storage is a cloud-based NoSQL datastore can use to store large amounts of structured, non-relational data. Azure Table offers a schemaless design, which enables o store a collection of entities in one table. An entity contains a set of properties, and each property defines a name-value pair.
9. Name various power states of a Virtual Machine.
The few power states of a VM are- Starting: Indicates that the VM is being started.
- Running: Indicates that the VM is running.
- Stopping: Indicates that the VM is being stopped.
- Stopped: Indicates that the VM is stopped.
- Deallocating: Indicates that the VM is being deallocated.

10. Explain lookup transformation
Lookup transformation is used to look up a source, source qualifier, or target to get the relevant data. It is used to retrieve data based on a specified lookup condition. For example, we can use a Lookup transformation to retrieve values from a database table for codes used in source data.
11. What are the three main components of the Windows Azure platform?
The Windows Azure Platform has three main components: Windows Azure, SQL Azure, and Windows Azure AppFabric.
12. Explain cspack in Microsoft Azure
cspack is a command line tool that generates the service package file and prepares the application deployment to windows azure.
13. What is the purpose of using an application partition scheme in Azure?
The purpose of partitioning is to distribute data across multiple machines or storage areas. These different locations are networked together so data can be reassembled (or redistributed) as needed.
14. Explain Azure Service Level Agreement
A Service Level Agreement or SLA is a formal document that provides specific terms that state the level of service that will be provided to a customer. Microsoft's Azure SLA defines three primary characteristics of Azure service, performance targets, uptime, and connectivity guarantees.
15. Explain the concept of the table in Windows Azure
Azure Table storage is a service that stores non-relational structured data in the cloud, providing a key/attribute store with a schemaless design. Because Table storage is schemaless, it's easy to adapt your data as the needs of your application evolve.
16. What is the use of Temp Drive in VM?
Azure VM's can be moved from its current host to new host at any time due to maintenance, hardware failures or other reasons. In such an event, the data from the temporary storage will not preserve or moved to the new host.
17. Explain guest OS in Microsoft Azure
A guest OS is the software installed on either a virtual machine (VM) or partitioned disk that describes an operating system that is different than the host operating system. In a virtualized environment, the guest OS can be different than the host OS. A guest OS is required before a virtual machine can be deployed.
18.State the difference pricing model of Microsoft Azure
Microsoft offers three main ways to pay for Azure VMs and other cloud resources: pay as you go, reserved instances, and spot instances.
