1. What is a Blue Prism Process?

Blue Prism is a UK-based software development company in the field of Robotic Process Automation. The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was invented by Blue Prism. It enables business operations to be agile and cost effective by automating, manual, rule-based, repetitive back-office processes and improving accuracy by developing a “Digital Workforce.

2. What is a Visual Business Object?

The adapter used to connect to an application is called a Visual Business Object. A connector, which is a standard library provided by blue prism for communicating with a particular kind of application user interface(ACI).one or more pages, each of which implements all or part of an operation that the vbo can perform.

3. What is attach?

Designing a object for application we call a attach page at start of every action where we check if object is already attached and if Yes, detach and attach it. Once attach is successful, we proceed with normal interactions on web page within that action.

4. How attach will work in mainframe?

The ATTACH macro causes the system to create a new task and indicates the entry point in the program to be given control when the new task becomes active. The entry point name that is specified must be a member name or an alias in a directory of a partitioned data set, or must have been specified in an IDENTIFY macro.

5. What is credential manager and its advantages?

Credential Manager lets you view and delete your saved credentials for signing in to websites, connected applications, and networks. To open Credential Manager, type credential manager in the search box on the taskbar and select Credential Manager Control panel.

6. What is the use of Work Queues?

A work queue is an internal configurable list that enables a Process to manage its workload. A process can use different work queues and a work queue can be shared by multiple processes if required. The Queue Management tab in Control Room provides the operational user interface for work queues.

7. Wait stages where will be occur in Bp?

Wait stage to achieve delay/sleep in an execution in blueprism. The Wait stage is used to enable a business object to pause and wait for an application element. This allows a business object to deal with potentially erratic application performance.

8. What is Schedular in Blue Prism?

Blue Prism tool allows to execute processes at specified times and repeat their execution at various intervals. It is termed as Scheduler.

9. What protocol is used to create an action object?

A protocol defines a blueprint of methods, properties, and other requirements that suit a particular task or piece of functionality. The protocol can then be adopted by a class, structure, or enumeration to provide an actual implementation of those requirements. Any type that satisfies the requirements of a protocol is said to conform to that protocol.

10. How can you manage web services from which server in Blue Prism?

Blue Prism does not support the exposing processes/VBOs as RESTful services, only support exposing them as SOAP web services at this time. As a workaround, you could place an API gateway like AWS, Azure, IBM Strong Loop, etc., in between your client and your Blue Prism installation.

11. What is the use of Resume function in Blue Prism?

Blue Prism is on the path between a Recover and a Resume it is said to be in Recovery Mode. A Resume stage neutralizes the exception but does not fix the problem. Once past the Resume stage, the exception is effectively “gone” and the diagram can continue its normal flow.

12. If you have recover stage and did not resume stage, then What happens.

No there is no resume stage without recovery stage. There is nothing to recover stage, in the process, if you want to continue along with the process flow after an exception. You need to utilize a resume stage and have that connected to an end or other stages in the process.

13. What is exception bubbling?

The way in which an exception moves upward through the layers of a solution is known as bubbling. An exception will bubble upwards until it is handled, and if it is not handled, it will eventually bubble up to the Main page of the Process and cause it to fail.

14. How to do Surface Automation?

Surface automation is the process of creating automation according to images shown on a screen. Surface automation is useful at least in two cases: when you can’t use controls programmatically , or when the system under automation is changing.
